NJ Transist Village had a groundbreaking celebration on Wednesday. Construction actually began months ago on The Highlands project of Morristown Station. The project will cost a whopping $72 million for 217 upscale rental apartments, retail space and a five and a half floor parking garage. The parking garage is schedule to open in the spring of 2009 and will not only accommodate the building, but more than half the spaces will be designated for Morristown NJ Transit commuters.
